DLSU undergrad students - winners of JPICE awards for outstanding CE students

Dear GCOE Family,
 
I am very glad to inform all of you that  two (2) of our civil engineering students, Darius Joseph Diamante and Izzhar Christian Sumagaysay, emerged as winners for Imperium (Leadership) and Intellectus (Intellect) Category of Eximia 2018, respectively.
 
Diamante - A leader not only in academics but also in sports. He belongs to DLSU's football varsity team
Eximia 2018 is a competition hosted by the Junior Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers - Lungsod ng Maynila (JPICE-LNM) Chapter to search for the most outstanding students in various categories.  JPICE-LNM is composed of 15 universities including Technological University of the Philippines (TUP), Manuel L. Quezon University (MLQU), FEU Institute of Technology (FEU Tech), Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), University of the East (UE), Eulogio "Amang" Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (EARIST), Technological Institute of the Philippines (TIP), FEATI University, Colegio de San Juan de Letran (CSJL) Mapua University (MU), Adamson University (AdU), University of Santo Tomas (UST), Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM), De La Salle University (DLSU), and National University (NU).

Congratulations to our students and to the faculty members and staff of the Civil engineering Department.
