“Animo” represents the Lasallian spirit, “CIV” is the degree code for Civil Engineering at DLSU-Manila, while the star symbol is the star of faith which serves as a guide in all the department’s endeavors. Hence AnimoCIVnews is an expression of the department’s commitment and burning spirit to train competent and well-rounded civil engineers for God and country.
Last March 2007, the AnimoCIVnews was born. AnimoCIVnews is the official news digest of the Department of Civil Engineering, De La Salle Unviersity, Manila, Philippines. It is an annual report of the activities and accomplishments of the DLSU faculty, students and alumni. To provide instant news and get immediate feedback about the activities of the department, the AnimoCIVnews-Online is created. This will further enhance the networking with Lasallian students, alumni, parents, administrators and fellow civil engineers and educators. AnimoCIVnews welcomes comments, feedback and messages.
