Prof. Dr. Ronaldo I. Borja of Stanford University, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering delivered a lecture to DLSU senior civil engineering students on January 8, 2009. His lecture is about his research project for the intervention and restoration measures for the Tower of Pisa, and in the finite element modeling of the dynamic soil-foundation-structure interaction response of the South Memnon Colossus in Luxor, Egypt. Dr. Borja graduated BSCE, Summa Cum Laude at the University of the Philippines, Diliman (UPD), QC. Dr. Borja was a former professor at UPD and Dr. Andres Oreta and Dr. Bernard Lejano were his students in the graduate school of engineering at UPD.Thursday, January 8, 2009
