The Department of Civil Engineering proudly congratulates Angela Jamie P. Tan, a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (STE) student, for representing De La Salle University as one of the delegates to the 6th International Asia-Oceania Five Universities Alliance (AOFUA) Summer Camp 2026, held from July 5–10, 2026 at Tokyo City University, Shonan Village, Japan.
The international program brought together students from the Asia-Oceania Five Universities Alliance (AOFUA) member universities across Asia to collaborate through lectures, field visits, and Project Cycle Management activities aimed at developing innovative solutions to real-world challenges. As a member of Team Violet Vanguards, Angela demonstrated exceptional leadership and collaboration while working with students from diverse academic disciplines and cultural backgrounds.
Her team's project, Project Mangrove Movement, was honored with the Best Case Presentation Special Award, the only competitive recognition presented during the summer camp.
Angela's achievement is a testament to the excellence, leadership, and global outlook fostered by the DLSU community. We are incredibly proud of her accomplishments and look forward to seeing her continue to make a positive impact in the engineering profession.
