The Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning (ASAIHL) held the ASAIHL 2024 Conference with the main theme on “Advances in Information and Communication Technology on Education” on June 16-17, 2024 at June 16-17, 2024 at Juntendo University, Tokyo, Japan. Dr. Andres Winston Oreta, Professor at the Dept. of Civil Engineering presented his paper on “Leveraging Technology and Online Resources in Civil Engineering Education: A Community of Inquiry Perspective” in the parallel session at the conference on June 16, 2024.
Dr. Oreta was one of the delegates of De La Salle University composed of Br. Bernard S. Oca FSC, DLSU President and also the president of ASAIHL Philippines, Dr. Laurene Chua- Garcia, DLSU Vice-President of External Relations and Internationalization, Dr. Jonathan River Dungca, Vice President for Laguna Campus and Dean, School of Innovation and Sustainability, Dr. Luz Suplico Jeong, DLSU Professor of Marketing Management of the College of Business and Leah Madrazo, STEM Department Chair at Laguna Campus. Br. Oca presented in the plenary session the Philippines Country Report on Philippine Education. Dr. Luz Suplico-Jeong, on the otherhand, also presented her paper on “Wearable Fitness Devices and the Filipino Consumers: An Academic Review and Classification.”
