There used to be advising of graduate students in the College of Engineering at De La Salle University-Manila. But this practice was removed after the introduction of the online enrollment. Several problems arose - enrolling in the wrong subjects, student needs (like petitions to offer new courses or tutorials) not addressed, no adviser in the thesis or practicum, lack of contact with the department and others. How do we address this problem?
May I propose an online advising through this blogsite. May I call on our MSCE and M.Eng. students to visit this site http://animociv.blogspot.com/ and post your comments either in the Message Box or at the Comments under this blog. As a start, please list down the subjects you are interested to take next school year 2009-2010. We will try to offer them if we have the faculty.
If you want a personal and private advising, send an email to animociv@gmail.com.

ReplyDeleteI think you can apply as an audit student. I just don't know the procedure. Maybe you can inquire at the Graduate Admission's Office.
ReplyDeleteRegarding the 3 major subjects I mentioned, can you kindly open them for monday, tuesday and thursday?
ReplyDeleteUsually when we offer a CE subject, the schedules do not coincide... but they may have conflict with other subj like Math
ReplyDeleteCan you make it tuesday, wednesday and thursday instead?
